Inspired by random encounters that take place during walks, I envision connections among animals, plants, minerals and human made objects or other debris. I prefer to work outdoors when possible, at a park, garden or street and use a studio setting as a place where I pull the threads of my findings together. I use drawings, photography, storytelling and painting devices to bring together human and non-human elements in a way that suggests a rethinking of humanity’s place as part of a broader ecosystem. I am an Athens School of Fine Arts graduate with a specialisation in painting. I am currently working on an ongoing project, initiated during my Masters at the Glasgow School of Art, with drawings created outdoors around the city centre. I am based in London and also work and travel between Athens and Santorini.
