I am an Artist who is interested in people and process. My interest in people’s relationship to production goes deeper into questioning new and existing modes of mental and physical labour. Through site-specific work, interventions and workshops, I investigate this interest using materials and objects such as paper and whiteboards for participants to engage with. I vary the situations using regulated and unregulated systems and instructions for participants to follow to reveal new insights and unexpected outcomes in the form of drawings, sculptures, and live performances. As with the whiteboard jacket, here new designs and activities are emerging through the wearer and other participants. Operating in this way sparks further intrigue as questions arise such as my role in the process, the potential applications and ownership of the work.
