Jesse Jones
Jesse is a self-taught artist from Bradford currently based in London. Working primarily in oil paint and pigment ink, she creates a dreamlike world that reflects the harmonious and fluid country landscapes of her home in the north, combined with the colourful and vibrant city she is now exploring.
Jesse’s work aims to empower both her subjects and her viewers. Her use of abstract lines and a bold colour palette celebrates the emotional, sexual and organic energies that radiate from within us. Simultaneously, her work is infused with explorations of her own identity as a woman of mixed Jamaican/English heritage.
