Jemima Edwards
Jemima is a queer, black artist and handpoke tattooer based in Leeds. Her work draws from traditional tattoo flash, medieval manuscript illuminations and early modern woodcut styles, often reinterpreting it to represent a range of bodies, genders and skin tones. She is particularly committed to improving the accessibility of an often exclusive tattooing industry, providing a safe space for QTIPOC clients to get tattooed by someone experienced in working with a variety of skin tones. When not working on designs for tattoos and commissions, she can also be found playing keys and synth in psych-jazz band Himehabu.
