Chris Leaper
Chris Leaper is an illustrator who uses traditional media- acrylic paint, pen and ink, and pencils. A diverse range of influences have informed Chris’s work; childhood television programmes, movie concept design, folk legends and myths, ancient symbols and hieroglyphs, and the output of the ‘Golden Age’ illustrators- such as Rackham, Dulac, Gorey and Lotte Reiniger. His studio is located in Huddersfield town centre and he trades as Jesmond Cat Designs. His cards and prints have sold worldwide.
