Anji Dey-Clark
I am a local artist living in Leeds and I paint and draw whilst juggling home and family life and working part-time as a supply teacher. I love exploring different subjects, mediums and styles though I am mainly a figurative artist. Most recently I’ve been experimenting with various techniques such as textured canvases, abstract paintings, illustrations, life drawing, and animal and people portraiture. I am inspired most by things in nature and landscapes but I also love to observe and paint objects in a still life scene. My medium of choice is oils but I also paint in Gouache and acrylic. I also work charcoal, chalk pastels and ink as well. I am available for workshops and demonstrations and welcome commissions in any subject, style or medium.
