Collections, an Exhibition by Donna Coleman
As part of the annual Love Arts Leeds festival, local artist Donna Coleman reveals her latest collection of work at Aire Place Studios.
Influenced by artists such as Francis Bacon, Frida Kahlo and Alberto Giacometti, Donna’s artwork express raw, brutal emotion alongside human fragility. In ‘All In The Mind’ we also see the intense relationship with painting and how the process of creating can be therapeutic: The artist paints because she is compelled to express stories and dreams, and to navigate through the tempest of the mind.
