Alex Ekins
Sheffield based photographer, artist and sculptor. My work is predominately about people. I explore humans and how different cultures respond to each other. This photo is part of series and long term project on Hindu Sadhus, religious ascetics who live itinerantly in caves, forests and temples. I have visited Nepal and India four times to photograph the Sadhu using a portable studio set up.
