Algorithms, Insights and Engagement got you confused?

Run by Juliet, our Social Media Coordinator, and part of our ‘I want to be an artist mum!’ digital workshops series, this workshop for artists and creators will focus on Instagram, and cover topics like growing your audience and measuring and developing engagement. We will also look at;

  • Understanding ‘Insights’ and ‘Engagement’ tools
  • Setting achievable goals
  • Creating interesting and relevant content
  • Developing an online community or network
  • What is the ‘Instagram Algorithm’ and how can I use it?
  • Using free online design programmes to create graphics
  • Social Media and Wellbeing as a professional creative

This entry-level workshop is suitable for those who already have and use an Instagram account, either personally or for business, but would like to learn more.

There will be an additional 30 minutes for Q&A after the 1hour workshop and Juliet will also be available in our Creative Cafe digital drop-in after the workshops for further questions, discussion or 1:1 support.

This workshop, led by Juliet (she/her), and facilitated by another APS staff member, will be conducted over Zoom and last 1 hour, followed by 30 minutes for Q&A.
