Aire Place Studios was founded by Sarah Francis who wanted to make a space to allow creative people access to a community, an affordable space and allow freelancers to make money for themselves rather than making money from them.

The first deposit was put down from selling upcycled furniture from the street, scrap metal and surplus pallets (the space was made from lots of recycled pallets) We have been known as the “pallet people” in Aire Place Mills.

Aire Place Studios has evolved naturally, allowing creatives to lead the way by having ample resources, committed spaces and peer support groups.

As of 2017, we have three extra board of directors and a fantastic core team of volunteers.
