All welcome

We warmly welcome you to celebrate the end of “100 Years of Suffrage” with a pedal powered screening of ‘Shireen of al-Walaja’. Shireen is a powerhouse of everything it means to be a woman. As her Palestinian village shrinks, Shireen’s strength and courage grows. Please note this film features state violence.

Bring your cycling legs and help us power the film!

This film has been kindly provided by Leeds Palestinian Film Festival or check out: www.leedspff.org.uk

We will also be featuring a film kindly donated by Leeds Animation Workshop called Waste Watchers.

PLUS:

Talks from Daniel Francis, writer of You Matter, a program about male suicide.

Another chance to see Laura Gayle and Sophie Wright’s exhibition.

Vegan food will be available, so be sure to bring along a bit of cash. There will also be some delicious focaccia kindly donated by Leeds Bread Coop to keep those legs pedalling!!
